From Helen's Desk
Vermont's travel map has been suspended and a statement issued that says quarantine is required for all those entering Vermont, whether traveling in from another state or Vermonters coming back to Vermont from another state. Quarantine is for 14 days or 7 days followed by a negative COVID test.
The governor has issued a mandate stating that multi-household gathers, both public and private, both indoors and outside, are prohibited. We are working diligently to create a sufficiently secure plan to allow some way for families from different households to be in our facility at the same time. At this time, one household is permitted to come in for viewing or to pay last respects if that is desired. Unfortunately, we cannot extend this option to out of state households unless quarantine has been observed.
We encourage everyone to show their love and support to the families of those who have passed by sharing condolences, memories, pictures, and videos on the Tribute Wall found on each individual’s obituary page.
As of 11/20/2020, Guest Memorials manager, Liz Merritt, will be working remotely. She can be reached by phone, email, and through the Guest Memorials website. The office will be closed to the public.
