Christina Stearns

St. Johnsbury, VT: Christina Mary Stearns, 49, of Portland Street in St. Johnsbury passed away at her home on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Christina was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on December 22, 1968 to John and Dorothy (Freeman) Stearns.  She was raised and educated in St. Johnsbury graduating from the Academy Class of 1987. She enjoyed going to Bingo, playing board games, talking to friends on the phone and Facebook, watching TV, and having coffee with her sister, Margaret at Anthony's Diner.

Christina is survived by her son: Brian J. Stone of St. Johnsbury; a brother: Jeffrey C. Stearns of St Johnsbury; three sisters: Kathleen M. LeBlanc, Pamela S. Green, and Margaret A. Colflesh, all of St. Johnsbury; nieces and nephews: Jessica W. Soard of North Carolina, Brittany B. Colflesh, Tandra L Colflesh, Jonathon T. Austin and Shawna L. Austin, also of St. Johnsbury; cousins: Mike Dustin, Mark Dustin, Keith Dustin, Allison Chase, Gordon Stearns; grand niece and nephew: Corbin and Sasha; step-cousins: The Coderres of Connecticut; an uncle and aunt: Charles and Donna Freeman and cousins of North Carolina.

She was predeceased by her parents:John Miller Stearns and Dorothy Florence (Freeman) Stearns; her grandmother: Edith Freeman; and many aunts and uncles.

A memorial gathering will take place on Friday, August 24, 2018, 5-7PM at Sayles Funeral Home, 525 Summer Street in St. Johnsbury, VT.
