Andrew Lewis Belanger, age 15, of Sutton, VT, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, with his father, Peter, in an accident on I89 in Middlesex.
Andrew was born on October 25, 2002, in St. Johnsbury, VT to Peter Michael Belanger and Melanie (Gauthier) Parry. He was a freshman at Lyndon Institute due to graduate with the Class of 2021. He enjoyed playing basketball and football and was looking forward to playing football with LI in the fall.
Andrew was active teenager enjoying dirt biking, hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, target shooting, archery, and skateboarding in the West Burke Skate Park. He loved animals and people, always supporting the underdog.
Andrew is survived by his mother: Melanie Parry of Middlebury, VT; his paternal grandparents: Charles and Colleen Belanger of Sutton, VT; his maternal grandmother: Alberta Gauthier of Roxbury, VT; two brothers: Devin Lynch and Seth Parry of Barre, VT; a sister: Ashley Lynch of Barre, VT; two uncles: Bobby Vachon of Franklin, NH and Terry Gauthier of Concord, NH; two aunts: Lisa Kenny of Northfield Falls, VT and Heidi Fleury and Rick of Washington, DC; a nephew: Cameron Lynch; and 4 nieces: Madelyn Lynch, Camille Parry, and Layla and Lillianna Morse.
His was predeceased by his maternal grandfather: Robert Gauthier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, 12 – 2pm at Guibord Funeral Home, 15 Main Street in Lyndonville, VT.
A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Alfred Nelson will follow at 2pm at Guibord Funeral Home.
Burial will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family.
